Above Expectations is looking for a Human Resource Assistant to undertake a variety of HR administrative duties.
The Human Resources Assistants duties involve a wide range of support activities inside our HR department, from coordinating meetings to maintaining our employee database to posting job ads.
An important part of your role will be to act as the liaison between HR and employees, ensuring smooth communication and prompt resolution of requests and questions.
Support the human resources operations and procedures by scheduling appointments and leading orientation for new employees.
The Human Resource Specialist also assists in creating policies, processes and documents.

Responsibilities Assist with day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties.
Provide clerical and administrative support to Human Resources Director Compile and update employee records (hard and soft copies) Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations etc.
) Coordinate HR projects (meetings, training, surveys etc.
) and take minutes.
Deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data (absences, bonus, leaves, etc.
) Properly handle complaints and grievance procedures Coordinate communication with candidates and schedule interviews.
Conduct initial orientation for newly hired employees and collect i.
e.
, drug screens, fingerprinting, collection of HR required documentation Assist our recruiters to source candidates and update our database.
Requirements and skills Proven experience as an HR Specialist or HR Assistant or relevant human resources/administrative position Fast computer typing skills (MS Office, in particular) Familiarity with ATS software and resume databases Basic knowledge of labor laws Excellent organizational skills Strong communications skills The HR Assistant oversees all operations in an organization that deals with employee issues.
The Human Resources Specialist will work with Recruiters and other Human Resources staff members to make paperwork more efficient.
The ideal candidate must have strong communication skills, including good listening and speaking skills, to communicate with employees about sensitive matters.
They also need to write well to organize information efficiently.
